Be a Winner of $6,000 with John Chow and XR.com
Friday, November 28, 2008 22:05John Chow is holding a new contest to give away $6,000 in CASH! $5,000 would go to the charity of my choice and $1,000 will go to me to spend however you want. If I win, I would give the $5K to the Toronto Humane Society and I would put the $1,000 into paying off debt that I’ve incurred through this years financial crisis.
I chose to donate to the Toronto Humane Society because they are close to home, and it is my belief that no innocent animal deserves to live a crappy life. It is our responsibility as pet owners to care for our pets to the best of our abilities, and if we can’t, we should find them a loving owner that can, NOT just drop them off at the humane society.
The contest is being sponsored by XR.com. XR.com is a tiny url service that will take a link address that you provide to them, and condense it into an easy to read URL of 3-50 characters in length. This is especially useful if you’re trying to add a quick link to a blog or forum post, as some links such as those to ebay, can be multiple lines long! No one wants to see that!! The tiny url service provided by XR.com is free, and the site and interface is very straight forward and easy to use. Sign up for an account and check it out!
